A site rebuild that took organic visits up 71% and average position from 44 to 23
A showroom with a 48-year-old name, invisible for anything but that name. The previous site was missing headers, keywords and meta information, and the Business Profile would not sync.
The situation
Already ranking for the brand; almost nothing for “flooring stores near me” or the towns it serves.
What we built
- A rebuilt site: products, services, gallery, testimonials, a Google-reviews page, blog, and town pages for eight surrounding towns with carpet-installation sub-pages.
- Google Business Profile and listings management moved to a platform that would sync.
- A tracked phone number, lead-notification emails and a pipeline in the CRM.

How to read it
Impressions fell 29% over the same comparison, because the old site’s junk exposure (28,000 impressions a quarter at position 59 for a term it never won) fell away. Fewer, better impressions. Roughly a third of the clicks are people searching the store’s own name; the non-brand wins are modest and all local: “flooring stores near me”, “flooring stores st louis”, and the town pages at positions 5–10.
