Technical SEO from 86% to 100%, average position from 45 to 20, no spike to fall from
The cleanest long curve on our book: no launch bump, no ads, just a steady climb as the technical debt came off and the pages went on.
The situation
A contractor ranking well in its own MetroWest towns and weakly in Boston proper. The goal from day one was Framingham first, then expand.
What we built
- Technical clean-up from an 86% audit score to 100%.
- Town pages across MetroWest and a content programme aimed at cork, vinyl and gym-floor work.
- A plan, agreed in August 2026, to add commercial service pages by hand and test a second site on a keyword domain for Boston rather than risk the current one.

How to read it
The volume is small, about 85 clicks a month at peak and mostly the home page, so the story is direction and durability, not scale. Non-brand terms that rank: “flooring companies near me” at 4.7, “flooring installers near me” at 9.2. The town pages are indexed but not yet earning, which is what the next phase is for.
